Idris Elba (Luther, Beasts of No Nation, Thor 1-3, Fast & Furious: Hobbs & Shaw) befindet sich in Gesprächen für die Comicverfilmung The Suicide Squad.

Will Smith (Ali, Men in Black 1-3, Sieben Leben, Focus) wird für das Biopic King Richard ins Auge gefasst.

Jared Harris (Fringe, Mad Men, The Crown, The Terror) konnte für die Comicverfilmung Morbius engagiert werden.

Dania Ramirez (Heroes, Entourage, Devious Maids, Tell Me a Story) hat sich eine zentrale Rolle in der Fortsetzung der Action-Komödie Jumanji: Willkommen im Dschungel gesichert.

Andy Serkis (Der Herr der Ringe, King Kong, Planet der Affen 1-3, Black Panther) und Thomas Brodie-Sangster (Game of Thrones, Wolf Hall, Godless, Maze Runner 1-3) übernehmen zentrale Rollen in der Adaption The Mouse Guard.

Genevieve O’Reilly (The Honourable Woman, Glitch, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Tin Star), Keir O’Donnell (Sons of Anarchy, Fargo, Sun Records, Ray Donovan) und John Polson (Vietnam, Embassy, The Boys, Mission: Impossible  II) werden schon bald neben Eric Bana (Black Hawk Down, Troja, München, Dirty John) im Krimi-Thriller The Dry zu sehen sein.

Dev Patel (Slumdog Millionär, Chappie, Lion, Hotel Mumbai) befindet sich in Verhandlungen für die Adaption Green Knight.

Rosamund Pike (Stolz & Vorurteil, Gone Girl, Feinde – Hostiles, A Private War) übernimmt eine Hauptrolle im Thriller I Care A Lot.

Rachel Weisz (Der ewige Gärtner, The Fountain, The Lobster, The Favourite – Intrigen und Irrsinn) wird als nächstes die Romanverfilmung Lanny in Angriff nehmen.
