Die Nominierungen für die 94. Academy Awards, besser bekannt als die Oscars, wurden verkündet.
Bei dieser groß angelegten Veranstaltung ehrt die Academy of Motion Pictures Arts & Sciences die besten Filme des Vorjahres.
Großer Favorit ist der Western The Power of the Dog mit satten zwölf Nominierungen.
Weiterer Spitzenkandidat ist der Sci-Fi-Kracher Dune mit insgesamt zehn Nominierungen.
Das Drama Belfast und das Musical West Side Story konnten jeweils sieben Nominierungen für sich verbuchen.
Die Verleihung findet am 27. März 2022 in der Nacht von Sonntag auf Montag statt.
